Share Your Christmas Greeting!

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, Immanuel, we are actually declaring "God with us."
God is born into the chaos of humanity to lead us into the way of love, hope and wholeness.

The angels celebrated Immanuel shouting, "Peace on earth, good will to all,"
Creation rejoiced and the shepherds worshipped.

Merry Christmas Forestville Wesleyan,

T As we walk the journey of Kingdom Life together, there have been many challenging lessons, however there have been many more moments of encouragement. I am so grateful to be part of this community and look forward to the work that God will do in the season ahead.

On the journey to Christmas may you find; the courage to mend a quarrel, the humility to release a resentment, the generosity to serve without thought of return, the time to listen when someone needs to be heard and the freedom to love when pride says stand back.
Freely we have received…freely are we called to give. A very merry Christmas!

One of my favorite Christmas songs is "Mary Did You Know?" I'm awestruck when I reflect on Mary's baby from a mother's perspective. As an earthly mother we never know what our baby's will grow up to be. We have hopes and dreams for them but none of that can compare to The plan that God has for Jesus. Mary's baby boy would one day walk on water. Mary's baby boy would save our sons and daughters. Mary's baby boy is Lord of all creation. Mary's baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb. This Christmas season let us remember that Mary's baby boy has come to make us new ❤

So many people played important roles in the life of Jesus. I think that is a tremendous statement of the faith that God has in humanity despite all of our imperfections. A call to grow towards radical love.

Merry Christmas to everyone, may they feel the spirit of love and kindness not only during this season but throughout the entire year. May we always remain humble and remember the tiny baby born in a lowly manager for all of humanity.
